ENRICO BONILAURI

My name is Enrico Bonilauri. I’m a Reggio Emilia registered architect and a Certified Passive House Designer.

My role within Emu Architects is as lead project architect on a range of residential and small commercial projects. I have a particular interest in advanced building technology, and I am committed to finding efficient solutions for highly technical construction details.

I am the first architect in Emilia-Romagna to receive accreditation from the Passivhaus Institute as a Certified Passivhaus Designer, a skill set which I use in project design and consultations for colleagues. I am also the creator and moderator of the LinkedIn group “La Casa Passiva in Italia”, which is rapidly growing as one of the most valuable resources available for Italian Passive House designers.

While my educational and career backgrounds have leaned towards the engineering side of architecture, my hobby of sketching and drawing has kept me interested in design as well.
