‘Quarto Conto Energia’ (Fourth Energy Bill) Extends but Cuts Italian Feed-In Tariffs

The ‘Quarto Conto Energia’ (Fourth Energy Bill) was approved by the Council of Ministers this week. The bill replaces the ‘Terzo Conto Energia’ (Third Energy Bill) instead of extending until August 31, which was what had been anticipated. The new bill will govern photovoltaic systems installed in Italy from June 1, 2011.

The first Italian supply station for electric cars to be built in Reggio Emilia

The experiment belongs to the Rezipe Project, that is financed by the European Union. The cities of Klagenfurt (Austria), Bolzano and Reggio Emilia (both in Italy) are taking part to the project.
